In 1996 a group of employees had a vision to manufacture the most revolutionary Class B motorhome on the market so they started Phoenix USA and began to live out their dream. Located in Elkhart, Indiana, by 1997 the company realized there was a need for a motorhome that was a little larger than a Class B and consequently they began to manufacture their line of Class B+ motorhomes. In the spring of 2009 many RV dealers were not able to get bank financing during the recession. This led Phoenix USA to move to become a factory direct manufacturer and sell their motorhomes directly from their factories. This decision allowed Phoenix to be much more personal with their customers and ended up saving their customers money without cutting quality.

Phoenix USA has a variety of Class B+ motorhomes to choose from, ranging in lenths of 21 feet to 31 feet. This line is called the Phoenix Cruiser and it is built on a Ford chassis. Two of their smaller models are offered on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis which comes with a 3.0 V-6 turbo diesel engine.
